Yes. The free tier is a real product, not a trial. Paid tiers add features (custom domain, no footer branding, monthly AI credits) but the free tier runs indefinitely.

There are limits: no custom domain, a "Powered by Forumera" footer, credit-gated AI features, and forums with no activity for 90 days are archived. Members, threads and posts are unlimited.

Yes. Your forum stays in place; the upgrade flips the limits. No re-setup, no data move.

Why we offer a free tier

We believe communities should be able to start without financial barriers.

Communities deserve a home

Many great communities start small. We want to be there from day one, not just after you can afford to pay.

Sustainable model

Growing communities often upgrade for extra features. That revenue lets us offer free plans to everyone.

No ads, ever

We don't monetize your community with advertising. Your forum stays clean and focused on discussion.

Upgrade when ready

Paid plans unlock extras like custom domains. But you'll never be forced to upgrade.

All core features included

Free doesn't mean limited. Here's what you get:

Unlimited threads and replies

Unlimited members

Full-text search

Categories and organization

Moderation tools

Mobile-friendly design

Dark mode

Custom subdomain

SSL security

Who picks the free tier and why

Forumera's free tier is built for the moment when you have a community in your head and zero budget. Real product, no credit card, no time bomb.

Solo creators

You are running a newsletter, a podcast, or a small audience. Members ask the same questions twice and you want one place to send them. Free tier holds the whole thing.

Side projects

A niche community around a game, a city, a band. You do not know if it will grow, you do not want to spend money to find out. Start free, upgrade if it works.

Co-founders pre-launch

You want a small private space for early customers to give feedback. Free + invite-only does exactly that without dragging you into setting up Discord roles.
